PURPOSE:To promote shortening of assembling time of glass pieces and improve productivity, by fixing glass pieces between a pair of frame materials punched on the basis of stained glass and the glass pieces so as to sandwich the glass pieces. CONSTITUTION:Three rectangular hole parts 2 are punched in two flat plates 1 prepared according to the dimensions of stained glass to be produced to form a pair of frame materials (1a) and (1b). One surface of one frame material (1a) is then coated with an adhesive 3 and three glass pieces 4 are placed thereon, bonded and fixed. Gaps between the glass pieces 4 are subsequently filled with a filler 5 and the residual frame material (1b) is placed on the glass pieces 4 in this state. The surface of the frame material (1b) in contact with the glass pieces 4 is similarly coated with the adhesive 3 in the same manner as that in the frame material (1a). Outer frames 6 are finally fitted in the peripheries of the frame materials (1a) and (1b), tightened with bolts, pressed, etc., to complete production of the aimed stained glass.
