PURPOSE:To enable the working to be easily achieved without necessity of a complicated device by a method in which after two members constituting a weather strip have been respectively extruded at constant sections, the positions of two extruded members are moved in opposite direction, whereby their overlapped part is pressure-welded. CONSTITUTION:The extruding port 5A extruding the main body of a weather strip and the extruding port 5B extruding a seal lip 23 are formed independently and adjacently in the extruding head 5 of an extruder. The members 2A, 2B of unvulcanized sponge rubber are extruded from these extruding ports 5A, 5B, and are received on a rotating roller 6A receiving them. The position receiving the member 2A is constant, and the position receiving the member 2B is changed left or right. In a transferring process, the member 2B approaches or parts from the member 2A, and the rate of overlap of both members 2A, 2B is changed. After this overlapped part has been pressure welded by pushing with a roller 6B, it is vulcanized. Thus, the weather strip with corrugated section may be obtained. |
