PURPOSE:To improve magnetic characteristics, perpendicular orientational property and wear resistance by forming a Co-Cr-W-C alloy film on a Co-Cr film formed on a substrate consisting of a high-polymer molding. CONSTITUTION:The Co-Cr film is formed by a sputtering method on the substrate consisting of the high-polymer molding and the Co-Cr-W-C alloy film is formed thereon. Polyimide, polyester, etc., are used as the high-polymer molding. The Co-Cr film is preferably formed of the compsn. contg. 70-90atom.% Co and 10-30atom.% Cr. The Co-Cr-W alloy film is preferably formed of the compsn. contg. 40-75atom.% Co, 25-35atom.% Cr, 1-10atom.%, and 0.5-15atom.% C.
