PURPOSE:To miniaturize a feeder and to reduce consumption power by providing a means which interlocks to the action for loading a cassette and energy-stores an elastic member. CONSTITUTION:A disk 1 is loaded on a rotational axis 6a and a cam 13 turns in right-handed rotation and is energized with the stored-energy of a driving spring 27 which has wound along the outer periphery of a gear 16. With the absorption of a plunger 30, the cam 13 is set to turn by one on each pitch through a ratchet claw 32. With the shift of a cam follower pin 2 by a cam part, a carriage 7 shifts to the inner side of the disk, and a head 8 is confronted with the disk 1, whereby recording and reproduction can be executed. Consequently, the small plunger 30 can feed the head with the shift of the carriage and the stored-energy of the spring 2 at the time of cassette loading, whereby the feeder can be miniaturized and consumption power can be reduced.
