PURPOSE:To reduce the shape size and weight of an arm and to shorten access time by disposing a slider supported by a supporting spring to be positioned on the arm in the peripheral direction of a medium. CONSTITUTION:The sliders 6 and 9 equipped with their respective magnetic cores are supported by the supporting springs 7 and 10 respectively, whereby the slider 6 is disposed on the arm 8 on the inner circumferential side of the medium, while the slider 9 on the outer circumferential side. By this method, the disposition can be carried out by approaching the springs 7 and 10 from each other, thus reducing the shape size and weight of the arm 8, increasing its moving speed and shortening the access time. |
