PURPOSE:To visually decide a single or plural displayed chart patterns by using a graphic data memory means, a graphic data comparison means and a display control means to apply an emphasized superscription display method when the same patterns are displayed at the same coordinate position of a display device. CONSTITUTION:A graphic data memory means 2 stores the input graphic data. A graphic data comparison means 3 displays with emphasized superscription a pattern shown by the new input graphic data on a display device when it is decided that the graphic data equal to the new input one is already stored in the means 2. Thus it is possible to decide visually whether a single or plural patterns are displayed.
