<p>PURPOSE:To deal with an increase in the storage quantity of cassettes and to reduce cost by selecting the single use of a basic unit and the use of the connection of the basic unit and expansion units, and setting the capacity of an automatic exchange device in accordance with the number of cassettes required in a TV station. CONSTITUTION:First and the second expansion units are connected to the basic unit 1 of the cassette automatic exchange device, and the front space of the unit 1 is set to a robot shifting space 10. A cassette exchange robot 9, the VTR cassettes 7 or the like are arranged in a basic unit box 5. The box 5 is formed to a rectangular parallelopiped shape and the front is set to the robot shifting space 10. Respective units 2 and 3 are formed to the rectangular parallelopiped shape with the same height as the unit 1, and robot shifting spaces 10a and 10b re set in front, whereby the shifting spaces 10-10b of the units 1-3 are set to communicate. With the communication of the shifting spaces 10-10b, the box 5 and respective expansion use unit boxes 15a and 15b are set to be detachable so as to deal with the increase of the storage quantity of the cassettes 7.</p> |
