Each stator magnet comprises a coil (1) contg. a primary winding (2), and a secondary winding (4) innermost on the coil core (3). The magnets magnetize the stator pole pieces (8,9). The rotor (12) has permanent magnets and a number of poles (4,6,8) and a cam plate (13) on its shaft for activation of a switch (14) to break the current to the primary winding. This produces a counter-directed current thrust in the secondary winding, so that a repulsing current is obtained. - The repulsing current consists of primary and secondary phases, causing the rotor to rotate. The cam plate fitted on the rotor shaft has half as many cams as there are poles on the rotor. They are so formed that the times for closing and braking the current are of equal length. |
