Supporting frame for catalyst plates

A supporting frame for blocks of parallel catalyst plates has a pair of top parts and a pair of bottom parts, with a spacing to suit the width of the plates. These parts form open guide slots of the same width as the plate thickness. These slots are punched out of the sheet metal frame before it is bent to its final shape with its inward protruding middle part.
