This invention relates to a device which makes it possible to reduce considerably the water pressure at the outlet of a flexible or rigid pipe serving for watering garden plants without reducing the flow rate. The pressurised water arrives via the pipe 1, escapes via the orifices 5 pierced in the wall, the end being plugged up by a welded disc 4 or a screwed-in plug. The water pressure is dissipated (broken) by contact with the wall of the tube 2 and the water then flows out, under no significant pressure, towards the end of the tube 2. This device is particularly intended for watering garden plants (vegetables and flowers), avoiding damage produced by a pressurised-water supply. <IMAGE>
