PURPOSE:To increase pressing force of wiper under high speed running and to reduce inverting noise of wiper by feeding oil to a sliding piston in a wiper arm drive shaft according to vehicle speed, and discharging oil at the inverting position of wiper. CONSTITUTION:A wiper arm drive shaft 1 is provided integrally with a vane body 7 of a rollable rotary piston motor 3, so as to operate a wiper W. A sliding piston 2 is provided in the drive shaft 1 and contacted with an end portion of the wiper arm through a rod 21. The sliding piston 2 supplies oil through an oil supply path 34 according to vehicle speed, and the oil is discharged through an oil discharge path 35 at the wiper inverting position. Pressing force of wiper against the window face is increased under high speed running so as to prevent floating of wiper, and the pressing force is decreased when the wiper is inverted so as to decrease inverting noise.
