<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to operate an automobile light without preparing any projection by controlling the on-and-off actions of a turn signal and a headlight according to the movement of a finger by means of judgement provided to detect the movement of a driver's finger. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric switch unit 2 is to be provided on the right side surface of a steering column arranged with plural number of reflection type photo-interrupters 2a through 2e in the circular arc form and a single photo-interrupter 2f is provided on the inward thereof. These photo-interrupters 2a through 2f detect the movement of the driver's finger and outputs the signals to a CPU 4. If a finger tip is stretched out and shock upward, the turn signal of a left turn 6l lights. If a finger tip is shock downward, the turn signal of a right turn 6r lights. In this manner, light can be operated without any lever type switch.</p> |
