PURPOSE:To attain an operation enlarging or reducing a bit of image information when the information is transferred from an original by respectively providing an image input means and an image output means on the opposite ends of a handy printer main body. CONSTITUTION:An output signal according to the quantity of light is obtained by irradiating the original 1 which has the image information with a light source 2 and converting that reflection light 3 on an image sensor 5 through a lens 4. The image information is transmitted to a control means 8 which has a memory means 7 from the image input means 6 composed by the light source 2, the contact image sensor 5 and so on and the processing such as the memory, the unmagnification, the enlargement and the reduction of the information is executed. This processed information is transmitted to the image output means 9 composed by a thermal heat 10, a thermosensible ink ribbon 11 and so on. Therefore, the heat 10 is successively charged and heated and the ink of the ribbon 11 is transferred on a paper 13 based on the information by a driver 12.
