The invention relates to a device making it possible to fix shoes onto the pedals of a bike without using toe clips. It is made up of a pedal having a slot a at the rear. In the pedal there is housed a small plate fitted with a tab penetrating into the slot a, this device thus blocks the foot on the pedal and, according to the invention, is essentially intended for practising the sport of cycling. <IMAGE>
