PURPOSE:To bring the speed of outside crawler below maximum vehicle speed when turning to the left or right, in a controller for hydraulic steering device to be employed in a bulldozer, by providing a main controller for outputting an engine output reduction signal upon exceeding of the speed of the outside crawler over maximum vehicle speed when the bulldozer turns to the left or right. CONSTITUTION:An engine 1 has a governor 20 and controls the rotation based on a signal fed from an engine controller 21. A torque converter 3 and a hydraulic motor 17 have rotation sensors 23, 24 respectively, and engine rotation, speed change stage, output rotation of a torque converter and rotation of the hydraulic motor are inputted to a main controller 25. The main controller 25 comprises a first operating circuit 30 for operating the body center speed Vc, a second operating circuit 31 for operating the speed Vo of the outside crawler based on the body center speed Vc, operating amount of an operating lever and distance B between centers of crawlers, and a comparison circuit 33 for comparing the crawler speed Vo and the maximum vehicle speed Vmax and outputting a rotation drop signal R1 to the engine controller 21 if Vo>Vmax.
