PURPOSE:To shorten an installation space, to prevent the ununiformity of a bond and to improve the thermal efficiency by constituting a drying room with a box and a cylinder, disposing a drying path line a little lower than a wire drawing path line and circulating the hot air. CONSTITUTION:The drying room is disposed to lower its each grooved drum 5, 6 on an inlet and outlet sides is lower than the wire drawing line. The wire rod 10 enters the drying room from an inlet port 1-1 of the inlet side box 1 without contacting with the inlet grooved drum 5, passes through in the upper cylinder 3 to-wind itself round the outlet grooved drum 6, then passes through in the lower cylinder 4 to wind itself round the inlet grooved drum 5, and then passes through in the upper cylinder 3 to wind itself round the outlet grooved drum 6. This working stages are repeated in several times, then, lastly it is drawn out from a wire drawing port 2-1 without contacting with the outlet grooved drum 6. In the drying room, the wire rod is dried by the circulating hot air blown in from a hot air blowing port 7 provided on the inlet box 1.
