PURPOSE:To attain a composed sleeping posture by providing between a seat body and a base a locking mechanism hindering a relative movement of a slider against a guide rail prepared on a base. CONSTITUTION:When a finger is inserted into a hole 30 at the end of an operating lever 20 and pulled, a lock pin 19 moves as guided by an inclined hole 25 and falls out of a hole 16 on a slider 13. By doing so, a seat body 1 inclines to a suitable position as the slider 13 slides along a circular arc shaped guiding surface 17 on a guide rail 11. After inclining the seat body 1, the lock pin 19 agrees with the hole 16 by engaging a roller 15 with a dent 18 as the seat body 1 is moved back and forth a little. When the lever 20 is released under this condition, the lock pin 19 is guided along the inclined hole 25 and engages with the hole 16 again. Therefore, a sleeping posture can be taken as the seat body 1 maintains its inclined position on a base 2.
