PURPOSE:To transmit driving force to a driven part accurately and smoothly in an intermittent manner, by forming a non-gearing part, unengaged with the other side gear, in a first gear having a convex strip and a gear groove and a second gear having a gear groove to be engaged with the former and a convex strip likewise. CONSTITUTION:When a gear A is rotated in A direction, a side wall of a gear groove 3 repeats an operating cycle consisting of a driving mode of a first convex strip 6 of a rack gear 2, a second driving mode, where a circumferential side wall of each notch groove 5 drives a second convex strip 7 of the rack gear 2 and an idling mode, where the second convex strip 7 exists between notch grooves 5, and the rack gear 2 is intermittently moved by a pitch P1 at each half turn of the gear 1 with continuous rotation of the gear 1. Thus, although it is a simple structure, driving force is intermittently transmissible to a driven part accurately and smoothly.
