<p>The process comprises sepn. of the above 60 mm fraction, for alloy prodn. and drying of the below 60 mm and electromagnetic removal of the iron impurities, with granulometric sepn. The coarse sepd. metal fraction mainly consisting of aluminium and aluminium alloy turnings, is used to produce aluminium alloys. The molten fine fraction, with NaCl, KCl and cryolite fluxing or melted in aluminium baths under flux, is cast in ingot form for utilisation of its aluminium content.</p> |
