The invention refers to a propeller drive arrangement for a ship or similar, which consists of an electric motor (1) and a propeller (4) attached directly or with a gear into its axle (2). To achieve turning of the propeller according to the invention, the electric motor (1) with its axle (2) is fitted inside a waterproof, usually cylindrical chamber (6) equipped with sealed axle duct (5), which is supported by a turnable tubular axle (7) to the ship hull (8).<IMAGE>
