PURPOSE:To improve the paper feeding function by installing a rear edge regulating member for a document in shiftable ways in the document feeding direction, onto the rear part side of a document stacker equipped with a paper feeding part in the front part. CONSTITUTION:A rear edge regulating member 5 for a document 4 is installed in shiftable ways in the feeding direction onto the rear part side of a document stacker 3 having a paper feeding part in the front part. Further, the front part of the document stacker 3 in the feeding direction is not sharply inclined downwardly, and the front part is inclined a little upwardly. The set document 4 is pushed from the rear part to a paper feeding part. The document 4 light- exposure-treated on a plate glass is returned onto an old or designated position before the reach to the document stacker 3. Therefore, the rear edge regulating member 5 is retreated in conformity with the size of the document returned into the document stacker 3, and the restacked documents can be certainly arranged for the next paper feeding, and the paper feeding function can be improved.
