PURPOSE:To obtain a color image having a high quality by a handy, miniature and inexpensive device, by providing an exposing device for forming a latent image by an image-like exposure on a heat developing photosensitive material, and a heat developing/transferring device for bringing said image to a heat transfer to an image receiving layer. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 216 is released by a solenoid 218, an original supporting glass plate 2 slides, a photosensitive material S is fed in accordance therewith, and an original image is protected onto the photosensitive material S and exposed. On the other hand, when the photosensitive material S is fed by a distance being equal to length in the moving direction of the original, a cutter unit 23 operates, and cuts the photosensitive material S. Also, the shutter 216 is closed and the inside and the outside of an illumination housing 202 are cut off optically. Moreover, in a photosensitive material image receiving paper superposing device 64, image receiving paper C of small width is in the center of the width direction of the photosensitive material S of larger width, and also, superposed so that the tip part of the photosensitive material S is uniform to the tip part of the image receiving paper C or precedes by several millimeters, fed to a heat developing transfer device 100, and a heat transfer is executed to the image receiving paper. In such a way, an image having a high quality can be obtained simply and at a low cost.
