PURPOSE:To secure reliability by preventing the collision of the liquid coolant onto a hermetic terminal by allowing the liquid coolant which is not sucked into the suction hole of a compression mechanism out of the liquid coolant which is sucked from the suction pipe of a sealed container to collide with a partitioning plate and to drop. CONSTITUTION:A compression mechanism 42 is formed from the fixed and turning swirl blade parts 40 and 41. An electric motor 43 for driving the compression mechanism 42 is installed, and connected with a crankshaft 44. Further, a hermetic terminal 46 for supplying electric power into the electric motor 43 is installed onto the wall 47 of a sealed container at the intermediate position between the compression mechanism 42 and the electric motor 43. While, a suction passage 48 leading from the suction pipe 50 of a sealed container 49 to a suction 51 under the compression mechanism 42 is installed. A partitioning plate 52 is installed, fixed onto a bearing part 45, into a space passage 53 leading from the suction pipe 50 to the hermetic terminal 46, in the direction of revolution of the electric motor 43. Therefore, the collision of the liquid coolant which is not sucked into the suction hole 51 with the hermetic terminal 46 is suppressed by a partitioning plate 52. |
