PURPOSE:To prevent a fault caused by uneven drying and drying abnormality by controlling automatically a set temperature in a drying part in accordance with a variation of an environmental temperature, and always holding the humidity in the drying part within a prescribed range, so that an undrying state is constant. CONSTITUTION:To a drying part 32, hot air supplied by pressure through a heater 56 from a blower 54 is blown out of the slit hole 60 of a blast pipe 52, a temperature in a duct 58 is measured by a first temperature sensor 62, and a measured value is fed back to a controller 66. The variation of the environmental temperature exerts an influence on the relative humidity of dry air, therefore, in a photographic film processing machine, the environmental temperature is measured by a second temperature sensor 68, and by changing a blow-out set temperature of dry air set in advance by the controller 66, the humidity in the drying part 32 is kept roughly constant In such a way, even if the environmental temperature around a photographic film processing machine is varied, the finished drying state of a photosensitive material always is a prescribed state, and the drying abnormality can be prevented surely.
