Door construction 1 which can be identified at least externally as a wooden door and comprises a frame 2 covered on both sides by cover panels 4 which form the sides of the door. The door further consists of a support 5 on at least one side of which there is arranged a metal plate 14, 15. The door construction 1 is characterized in that at least one bent end section 20 is formed in the metal plate 14, 15 and in that a longitudinal groove 18 is arranged in at least part of a frame timber 3. The groove 18 is also such that it receives the bent end section 20. The plate 14, 15 has preferably bent end sections 20 at all edges, and grooves 18 are formed in all the frame timbers 3. <IMAGE> |
