PURPOSE:To prevent the blur of a mark point due to an overstriking, by mounting a mark point-to-mark point distance calculation means, a striking point condition judging means and a striking point pulse generating means and performing striking point operation only when the distance between mark points satisfies a striking point condition. CONSTITUTION:A constant cycle pulse is outputted from a constant cycle pulse generating means 12 and a mark point-to-mark point distance calculation means 14 calculates the distance between mark points each time when inputs said constant cycle pulse. This distance between the mark points is successively inputted to a striking point condition judge means 15 to output either one of a striking point signal and a striking point suppressing signal. A fundamental striking point pulse is formed in a striking point pulse generating means 13 on the basis of the output pulse of the means 12. Further, with due regard to the operation times of the means 14, 15, slight delay is applied to the fundamental striking point pulse. Then, the striking point pulse is outputted when the striking point signal is inputted and the output of the striking point pulse is suppressed when the striking point suppressing signal is inputted. By this method, the blur of a striking point due to an overstriking can be prevented.
