PURPOSE:To enable the time of stamping to be displayed at a stamping part, by driving segments at the printing part to form 7-segment types, based on a signal from a time mechanism part in a controlling part. CONSTITUTION:Each of segments 14 for constituting a 7-segment type 12 comprises a support shaft 15 and an ink-containing body 16, which has a lower surface covered by a printing rubber 16a. By the vertical movements of the segments 14, the stamping operation of a stamping part 2 can be performed, and the movements are controlled by a control part 1 connected to the stamping part 2. The vertical movements of the segments 14 can be achieved by, for example, a method utilizing a shape memory alloy and heater control. Driving of the segments 14 is sequentially performed for heater parts 15a at which stamping operation is not required, for one of the parts 15a at a time, and a numerical part 13 is set by the segments 14 connected to the heater parts 15a which are in an OFF state. The date (year, month and date) 13a and time 13b of stamping are stamped.
