PURPOSE:To permit inexpensive supply of a card including a large amt. of information and to enable a user to make DRAW (direct-read-after-write) recording of information at need by providing a region where only the reading-out of the prerecorded information is possible and a region where writing and reading of information are possible on the same face. CONSTITUTION:The DRAW region 2 where the writing and reading-out of information are possible and the ROM (read only memory) region 3 where only the reading-out of the prerecorded information is possible are provided on the optical card 1. Continuous line-shaped tracking tracks 33 and broken line-shaped clock tracks 32 indicating clock signals of a specified period are previously and alternately formed on the region 2. Between the track 33 and the tracks 32 is the recording region where the DRAW recording of information is possible. The card is thus usable for both of a reproducing device which performs only the reproduction of information from the ROM region 3 and an optical information recording and reproducing device which performs the recording and reproduction of information to the DRAW region 2. |
