PURPOSE:To surely obtain an exit function in an exit mode by adding/ subtracting a count value of a counting means in accordance with the entrance/ exit of a person, and when the count value is turned to '0' in an in mode, driving an informing means. CONSTITUTION:The count value of the counting circuit 5 is initialized by means of a keyboard 3, i.e. the number of persons stayed in a house H is inputted. Then, a detecting circuit 6 detects the entrance/exit of persons based on signals outputted from infrared sensors 7a, 7b arranged on the inside and outside of a door D. When the entrance of a person is detected, '1' is added to the count value of the counting circuit 5. When the exit of a person is detected, '1' is subtracted from the count value and then whether the subtracted count value is '0' or not is decided.When the decided result is 'YES', the switching state of a in/out changing switch 4 is detected, and then the state is the stay mode, a sound synthesizing signal is outputted to a sound synthesis outputting circuit 8 to inform the switching operation of the switch 4 to the exit mode to the person to go out.
