<p>A metallisable, heat-sealable, biaxially stretch-oriented multilayer film comprises a base layer essentially of polypropylene, a first polyolefinic outer layer and a second polyolefinic outer layer, all the layers containing neutraliser and a stabiliser against thermal degradation, and is characterised in that all the layers contain, as neutraliser, a calcium carbonate having an absolute particle size of less than 10.0 mu m, a mean particle size of less than 0.1 mu m, a specific surface area of greater than 40 m<2>/g and a whiteness of greater than 90 %, and, as stabiliser, a phenolic stabiliser having a molecular weight of greater than 1000 g/mol, and in that one polyolefinic outer layer contains an antiblocking agent.</p> |
