An electronics part is provided, combined with a potentiometer, for this purpose. The individual components, such as measurement of the water vapour via the moisture sensor, for switching of the vapour hood shutter, command transmission and reducing the hotplate heating current or the gas flame, are combined. The hotplates are switched by means of a stepping motor, via the electronics part and via the moisture sensor. The object is to avoid an excessive water vapour concentration and to monitor the cooking of food electronically.
