PURPOSE:To omit the analysis and setting of a setting time and to attain automatic setting by allowing an abnormality detector for final control element to automatically set up a monitor timer in itself by measuring the operation time of a final control element. CONSTITUTION:Simultaneously with the output of an operation command 51a from a controller 5 to the final control element 2a, the monitor timer 62a in the abnormality detector 6 for final control element is driven. The set value of the timer 62a is stored in a preceding operation time storing memory 66a, and if a position detector 1a is not turned on when the timer 62a times up at the time of passing the set time, the abnormality of the final control element is displayed by lighting a display device 3. When the operation command 51a is outputted in said operation, an operating time measuring counter 65a for final control element is driven to measure the time required up to the ON of the position detector 1a. After the end of measurement, a value obtained by multiplying the measured data by an operation monitoring time allowable rate 7 for final control element is set up in the memory 66a. |
