PURPOSE:To obtain a preventive.treating agent for marine fish diseases containing FK-565 or a salt thereof. CONSTITUTION:A preventive.treating agent containing FK-565, expressed by the formula and having immunological enhancing activity without any direct antimicrobial activity or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof. The amount of the above-mentioned compound used is within the range of 0.01-1,000mg/kg, particularly 0.5-100mg/kg per day based on the fish body weight for oral administration and 0.01-1,000ppm, particularly 0.1-50ppm concentration for application by liquid bathing or washing and 0.01-100mg/kg, particularly 0.1-10mg/kg per day based on the fish body weight per day for injection.
