The ornamental lighting device radiates condensed light which propagates through a fibre optic cable. Optical fibres are supported by a pedestal, optically coupled with the fibre optic cable to be supplied with the condensed light. A retainer holds the fibres parallel to each other and at a predetermining spacing. A pair of light transmitting panels are mounted on the pedestal for mounting the retainer to hold the parallel optical fibre in sandwich array between the light transmitting panels. The pedestal is formed with a duct the fibre optic cable being optically coupled with the fibres through the duct. The duct pref. extends throughout the pedestal, another fibre optic cable being passed through the duct to distribute light to another ornamental lighting device. |
