PURPOSE:To exchange a plural kind number of magnetic disks for recording different information for others and to drive them to rotate by one drive motor by composing the drive motor and the magnetic disks which can be separated from each other. CONSTITUTION:A disk housing 13 of a disk storage part 12A is piled up on a motor housing 2 of a disk drive part 1, and an annular protrusion part 5 is fitted to a recessed type engagement part 16, and at the same time an engaging protrusion part 10A of a drive shaft 10 is engaged with an engaging recessed part 18A of a rotating shaft 18. Similarly to this, disk storage parts 12B and 12C are further piled up, and their rotating shafts 18 are engaged with each other. Then, the motor main body 8 is started up to rotate each magnetic disk 22 to be written and read out, and on completion, each of the disk storage parts 12A-12C are taken out of the disk drive part 1, and other disk storage parts 12 are then piled up to the disk drive part 1. By this method, one disk drive part 1 can thus be shared for a large number of disk storage parts 12.
