PURPOSE:To reduce the occupation rate of a transmission line and to ensure the use of an LAN of a general-purpose token link system, by securing such a mechanism where each PC slave device recognizes its own transmission time point based on a transmission order table. CONSTITUTION:A PC master device transmits the transmission order tables at once to each PC slave device before each transmission cycle is started. The PC slave device obtains its own transmission time based on said table as well as the transmission allocated time per PC and transmits all at once the data on its own area of the PC memory to other devices at the due transmission starting time. At the same time, each PC slave device receives the data on other devices in the transmission state and writes them into the areas of other devices in a memory. For this purpose, a PC master device 1a, a PC slave device 1b and a personal computer 2 are connected to an LAN 3 of a general- purpose token link system. Then an arithmetic unit 11 and a communication unit 12 are provided between an input/output unit 10 for PC devices having the same structure in terms of hardware and the LAN 3.
