PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant prepreg having excellent heat-resistance and suitable for the production of a metal laminate, etc., by impregnating a heat-resistant substrate with an organometallic polymer paint and semi-curing the polymer. CONSTITUTION:An organometallic polymer paint (preferably polyborosiloxane, etc.) is impregnated in a heat-resistant substrate (e.g. glass fiber cloth) and semicured to obtain a heat-resistant prepreg capable of keeping the adhesivity and insulation property, etc., even at a temperature of as high as >=300 deg.C. The organometallic polymer paint may be added with a silicone resin to improve flexibility and hydrolysis resistance of the prepreg.
