PURPOSE:To prevent variation of recording temperature with time elapse after the throw-in of power source, by correcting temperature data according to time elapse after the throw-in of power source which is obtained through a time counter means, then controlling electrical energy being fed to a thermal head based on the corrected temperature data. CONSTITUTION:Upon the throw-in of power source onto a thermal printer, a timer 6 is set and a temperature data is obtained from a thermister 5, then the temperature data is corrected based on the temperature data together with the elapsed time obtained through the timer 6. Thereafter, it is judged whether recording is performed, and if it is judged that recording is performed, driving pulses are modified according to the corrected time then the modified pulses are fed to a thermal head so as to perform a recording. Consequently, recording can be performed with constant density regardless of time elapse after the throw-in of power. |
