<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently carry out gas treatment by arranging a soda lime treating bed previously dehydrated and dried on the downstream side of an Al2O3 treating bed carrying moisture in series to constitute a solid treating bed, and passing halogenous waste gas through the solid treating bed. CONSTITUTION:The halogenous waste gas contg. CCl4 is diluted with gaseous N2, etc., and mixed, the gaseous mixture is introduced from the inlet 2 to a treating device 1, CCl4 is decomposed in the Al2O3 treating bed 14 packed with granular hydrated Al2O3, and the remaining halogenous gases such as Cl2 and BCl3 are absorbed and removed in the soda lime treating bed 15. In this case, respective reaction cylinders 10 and 12 can be controlled to a specified temp. by heaters attached to the cylinders.</p> |
