摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled polymer having excellent moldability, etc., in high reproducibility, by irradiating a solution containing pyrroles, a specific light-absorbing component and a specific electrolyte with light having a specific wavelength and performing oxidative polymerization of pyrroles with excited seed originated from the light-absorbing component. CONSTITUTION:The objective polymer can be produced by preparing a solution (e.g. aqueous solution or ethyl ether solution) containing (A) pyrroles (preferably unsubstituted pyrrole), (B) a light-absorbing component (e.g. methylene blue or thionine) exhibiting an electrode potential higher than the threshold potential of oxidation current of the component A in excited state and (C) an electrolyte composed of an ion having larger oxidation number in a redox pair having a standard electrode potential lower than the threshold potential of oxidation current of the component A or an ion having smaller oxidation number in a redox pair having a standard electrode potential higher than the threshold potential of oxidation current of the component I, irradiating the solution with a light having wavelength falling within the absorption spectrum of the component B and subjecting the component A to oxidative polymerization by the produced excited seed.
