Method of providing an image-bearing surface, e.g., a pre-press proof, with a protective covering, comprising laminating to said surface a thin, substantially transparent integral polymeric film, the improvement wherein the polymeric film consists essentially of a mixture of at least two slightly incompatible polymers, whereby the film exhibits a 20 DEG specular gloss that is at least 5% lower than the gloss of a film prepared from any one of said polymer constituents. |
