Combined wear and braking indicator for disc brakes

To reduce the outlay on equipment, and to allow information to be obtained by the use of a combined wear and braking indicator, an indicator for disc brakes is designed in such a way that it indicates the digital pressure signal corresponding to the limiting wear or the analog pressure signal corresponding to the continuous wear when the release clearance with the brake applied is 0. This is achieved by virtue of the fact that two pistons with a common longitudinal axis are guided in opposite directions as regards the pressure direction and, with their specially designed ends, are in contact with geometrically identical eccentric features on a pivotable shaft. <IMAGE>
