PURPOSE:To enable the efficient application of a set substance having high homogeneity and a prescribed strength, by a method wherein an ultrasonic sensor is inserted into and moved through a mixed solution of a stabilizing liquid and a setting material in a pit, so as to measure continuously the degree of mixture of the mixed solution. CONSTITUTION:A continuous wall pit 2 is formed by excavating the ground by means of a continuous wall excavator 1. On the occasion, a wall surface stabilizing liquid 4 of a water suspension of bentonite stored in a stock pit 3 is injected into the pit 2 to prevent the collapse of a wall surface. After the excavation of the pit 2 of prescribed dimensions is ended, a setting material of cement in a prescribed loading amount is added to the stabilizing liquid 4 in said pit 2 from a setting material supply plant 5 through a supply pipe 6 by using a pump or the like. Simultaneously, the mixed solution 8 of the stability liquid and the setting material is stirred by using a stirring machine 7. In the course of this stirring, an ultrasonic sensor 9 is inserted into the mixed solution 8 in the pit 2 to measure the degree of mixture of the mixed solution 8. When a prescribed degree of mixture is attained, stirring is stopped so as to set the mixed solution 8, and thus a continuous wall 10 is constructed. |
