PURPOSE:To reduce the ineffective processes of a channel for controlling a call connection and to improve a use efficiency by administering the on/off state of a power source every cordless telephone set and executing a calling action only on-state of the power source. CONSTITUTION:When the manual switch 5 of the cordless telephone set is switched ON, a control part 2 sets a transmitter-receiver 3 and a transceiver interface 4 in initial states and at the same time switches ON a control switch 6 so as to transmit power source ON information to a cordless telephone private branch exchange through the transmitter-receiver 3 and an antenna. The private branch exchange updates the storage of the power source on/off-state every cordless telephone set and executes the calling action only at the time of detecting that the power source pf the cordless telephone set which receives the call is ON in case of receiving the signal calling any of the cordless telephone sets. Thus, the ineffective holding of a radio control channel which is used for the control of the call connection can be reduced and the use efficiency can be raised. |
