PURPOSE:To enhance the low power consumption of a terminal machine by making a call in only one way from the terminal machine to a base station and stopping the power supply to the radio part of the terminal machine except in the midst of calling with the base station. CONSTITUTION:When the terminal machine executes the call to the base station, the control part 5 of the terminal machine switches ON a power source switch so as to supply the power source 6 to a transmission part 3 and a reception part 4 and the transmission part 3 and the reception part 4 become in action- enabled states. The control part 5 switches OFF the power source switch 7 again so as to stop the supply of the power source 6 to the transmission part 3 and the reception part 4 by the cut of call from the base station or its own clearing-out after starting the call with the base station. Thus, the power supply to the radio part is stopped at the time of not calling, so that the low power consumption of the terminal machine can be enhanced. |
