<p>A flexible connector (10) for screening machines comprises an assembly of a plurality of generally cylindrical, flexible collars (18). Each collar (18) has an annular endwise bead (19) on a first circumferential end and an annular endwise opening groove (20) within an endwise surface of a second circumferential end. The collars (18) are connected by applying force in an axial direction to adjacent and aligned collars (18) to seat and secure the bead (19) of one collar (18) into the groove (20) of an adjacent collar (18) to form a tube along an axis (16) of connection between a particle chute (8) and a movable screen frame (13) .</p> |
