PURPOSE:To completely eliminate the danger that a color forming precursor and a color developer may fuse with the other substance even if melting, by a method wherein, a gloss developing sheet is provided with coating-free surfaces having no layer of a developer and a gloss agent on the right and left sides thereof and it is carried by endless belts which come into contact with only the aforesaid surfaces, and heating is conducted by a heating element which is so fixed as to abut against the backside of the developing sheet. CONSTITUTION:A gloss developing sheet 1 having coating-free layers is carried by endless belts 2 on a carry board 3. At this time, the carry board 3 is brought into close contact with the endless belts 2 because of its curved shape. Therefore, the gloss developing sheet 1 having coating-free surfaces is also carried in close contact with the carry board 3. Then, the sheet 1 is heated by a heating element 4 from the backside thereof, whereby the color forming reaction on the surface is accelerated and a gloss agent is made glossy. Therefore, the absence of an object abutting against a coating surface of the gloss developing sheet at the time of heating enables the heating to be carried out without the occurrence of fusion. |
