PURPOSE:To attain the connection of a standard facsimile equipment when a key telephone set side to be connected with a main key telephone system, by providing a network control means equipped with a switching section which switches a speech line to the facsimile equipment by means of a tone signal produced by the main key telephone system when the system detects an incoming signal from a line wire. CONSTITUTION:The main key telephone system 1 detects an incoming signal given from a trunk line (private branch exchange) by means of an incoming signal detecting section 11. Then the system 1 gives the detecting output of the detecting section 11 to a DC control section 12 and switching section 13. The switching section 13 sends a tone signal from a tone signal generating section 17 to a speech line 4 through the contact 141 which is always in a closed state of a relay 14. At the network control section (NCU) 5 of the facsimile equipment 6, a detecting section 51 detects tone signals arriving from the main key telephone system 1 through the speech line 4 for a prescribed time and gives its detecting output to a relay 52. The relay 52 actuates change-over contacts 521 and 522 so as to switch the speech line 4 to a DC control section 53 side. The control section 53 forms a closed loop as the response to the system 1. When an facsimile control section 61 is actuated, picture data sent from the trunk line (private branch exchange) are received by the facsimile equipment 6.
