PURPOSE:To correct automatically a shear of paper feed amount generated in printing, by preparing paper feed control information based on a paper feed shear amount obtained preliminarily. CONSTITUTION:A basic length of preprint paper 20 and information of a document format printed on the paper 20 are stored in a basic paper information storage part 11. A basic length Lo of the preprint paper 20 and a shear amount L corresponding to a shear of paper feed amount of actual one time content are inputted to a shear amount input means 12. Actual correct paper feed control information, obtained by covecting feed error, prepared by a error correction means 13 on the basic of shear amount from the shear amount input means 12 and a paper feed basic length La and the document format information from the basic paper information storage means 11. This paper feed control information is sent to a printer mechanism control means, and printing is carried out with no positional shear in printing by a correct basic length.
