PURPOSE:To receive services so long as an automobile resides in the service area of a subscribed system by deciding a usable control channel whether or not it belongs to the subscribed system and bringing the channel into the standby state when the channel is the subscribed channel. CONSTITUTION:A control channel in a channel group of a subscriber system is scanned, the electric field strength is measured to acquire the control channel having the highest electric field thereby deciding whether or not the control channel is usable. If the control channel having the strongest electric field is not usable, and the channel does not belong to the subscriber system, whether or not the control channel of a 2nd strongest electric field is usable is decided. Thus, when a mobile set resides in the service area where the control channel of the subscribed system is usable, the services using the control channel of the subscribed system by the mobile set are received. |
